Memorial Garden
We would like to acknowledge the
achievements of our kaimahi and
partners, including:
Dr Mark Lankshear of Hokianga
Health received a Distinguished
Fellowship of the Royal New
Zealand College of General
Practitioners in July 2024.
Dr George Perera of Hikurangi
Medical Centre was awarded a
Whangārei District Council Civic
Honour for services to the health
and wellbeing of Hikurangi and
surrounding districts in October
2024.
Margaret Hand Nurse
Practitioner of Te Hau
Āwhiowhio o Otangarei Trust
who was named 2024 Mātanga
Tapuhi, Nurse Practitioner of
the Year.
Employees at our Whangārei
office gave new purpose to
our outdoor area by creating a
colourful spot to contemplate
and remember Mahitahi Hauora
employees who have passed.
This garden bed honours Betty
Dunn, Catherine Metcalf, Naomi
Fenton, Marilyn Dyer and
Rhoena Davis.
